Another Filipino national has tested positive for coronavirus disease in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), the Philippine Consulate in the former crown colony said on Monday.
“The Hong Kong Health Department officially informed the Philippine Consulate General today that another Filipino has tested positive for COVID-19,” the Consulate said in an update posted on its social media account.
This brings the total number of Filipino COVID-19-positive patients in Hong Kong to three, according to the Consulate.
“The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong is extending all necessary assistance to them,” it added.
Due to the rising cases of coronavirus infection here and abroad, the Consulate called on the Filipino community in Hong Kong to remain vigilant, practice good personal hygiene, and exercise social distancing.
Last Friday, the Consulate said one of the Filipinos who previously tested positive for coronavirus has been discharged from the hospital.
