Andrea Brillantes' sister defends actress over 'prom-posal' at BLACKPINK concert

Kayla Aan Gorostiza has reacted to an online user who called her sister Andrea Brillantes "papansin." This, for mounting a "prom-posal" to boyfriend Ricci Rivero at a BLACKPINK concert. On Instagram, she shared a screenshot of netizen's reaction. Kayla said: "Yes, yun naman talaga point. Fan talaga ang kapatid ko, masama ba kung nag try siya mag papansin sa idols niya? Aminin na natin, lahat tayo gusto nating mapansin ng BLACKPINK, ok????" "Umaga palang nasa arena na siya para pumila JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. Nagpa print siya ng 6 na banners (both in Korean & in English) to do a promposal for her VERY FIRST PROM. Nag tiis siya sa init, tumayo ng ilang oras, sure din ako nag tis siya wag umihi. she exerted as much effort as everyone else. Artista siya yes, pero hindi ibig sabihin non eh bawal na siyang umasta na parang normal na tao. If 'normal fan' yan, y'all would be saying 'cute' :)))))," she added. She also wrote: "Gusto niya lang maging super special ng FIRST PROM NIYA. LET HER BE." According to her, she normally doesn't react to such bashing, but she wants "bitter people" to leave her sister alone. "She's allowed to be a fan girl:-)," she reiterated.
Recall that in a viral video, BLACKPINK members Rosé and Lisa noticed her banner. They then said, "I just wanna ask Ricci Rivero, will you go to prom with Andrea?" Rosé added: "Please go to prom with that girl." Note that Andrea's request is in relation to the first-ever Star Magic Prom to be held March 30. Of course, Ricci gave an affirmative response, with Rosé saying: "He (Ricci) said yes!" The camera then panned to the couple, as seen in the LED display behind the South Korean superstars. Singer-actor Darren Espanto also documented the scene. He wrote on his Instagram story: "HARD TO BEAT THIS PROMPOSAL. GALING MO @blythe!" The Kapamilya star also re-posted Kyline Alcantara's BTS photo during the concert. Included in the snap with Kyline are Andrea, Ricci, Darren, Denise Laurel, and twins Mavy and Cassy Legaspi.
According to their posts, it marks Andrea and Kyline's reunion with Denise. Recall that the three worked together in 2013 via the family drama TV series "Annaliza."
