The third and fourth recovered cases were those of PNP Patient-2, a 31-year-old policeman from Manila, and PNP Patient-9, a 55-year-old policeman from Quezon City. Banac said that both of them have been discharged from the hospital. He also disclosed that two more policemen have tested positive for COVID-19 -- a 52-year-old policeman from Metro Manila, and a 34-year-old female cop. “They are now under quarantine and being treated,” Banac said. There are 52 PNP personnel who are categorized as probable persons under investigation (probable PUIs). They include 12 police commissioned officers and 40 police non-commissioned officers. On the other hand, some 257 personnel were categorized as suspected persons under investigation (suspected PUIs) -- 59 of them commissioned officers, 177 non-commissioned officers, and 21 non-uniformed personnel. Banac said 1,339 PNP personnel are listed as possible cases of persons under monitoring (PUMs). He expressed his hope that all the remaining cops infected with the coronavirus would recover.
