AirAsia on Tuesday canceled all domestic and international Z2 flights until April 30 following the extended Luzon-wide community quarantine.
According to the airline, the cancellation of flights is to follow the Philippine government's directive of extending the enhanced community quarantine.
"All affected guests will be promptly notified via email or SMS. AirAsia strongly encourages guests to update their contact details using the “My Bookings” feature on airasia.com to ensure that they receive timely notifications," it said.
Travelers whose flight bookings made on or before March 22, 2020, with a departure date until May 31, 2020, can now select options for their future travel.
Further, bookings made through travel agents including online travel agents can request a refund through their respective travel agents.
"Guests are also advised that changes to travel plans may be made with AirAsia even after the community quarantine period. For their convenience, guests may utilize AirAsia’s online support team and visit AirAsia’s office as needed once restrictions have been lifted," it said.
All affected travelers should visit support.airasia.com or may also call the AirAsia Philippines’ emergency hotline at (02)8722-2742.
