77 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Makati; total number now at 124

Seventy-seven new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) were recorded in Makati City, bringing the total number of cases in the city to 124, and the death toll at five.
This was announced by the local government unit (LGU) of Makati City on Wednesday night.
According to the city government, there are now 124 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and five deaths in the city as of 4 p.m. of April 1.
There are now 509 persons under investigation (PUIs) in the city, with 235 persons under monitoring (PUMs).
The local government said there are two new recoveries recorded. Makati now has five recoveries.
The Makati LGU did not disclose the barangays with COVID-19 cases in its Facebook post.
The Makati LGU urged those who believe that they have contracted COVID-19 to immediately call 168 or (02) 8236-5790.
With this, Mayor Abigail "Abby" Binay told her constituents to stay at home to help stop the spread of the virus.
She also urged residents to do the "Otso-Otso" cleaning habit to help in the fight against COVID-19, disinfecting at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Business establishments were enjoined as well to practice the program of the city government.
