IMUS CITY, Cavite---At least 499 individuals were added to list of curfew and liquor ban violators in Cavite on Saturday, March 28, bringing the total to 2,501 since the checkpoint and street operations started eight days ago.
Governor Jonvic Remulla reported the 499 arrests province-wide on Friday in his Facebook message #TigasUloPa More posted on Saturday morning.
The Friday arrests were the second biggest that Remulla reported under his #TigasUloPa More messages rendered out from March 21 to 28.
Remulla’s report was based on the figures that he was receiviing from the Police Provincial Office (PPO) every day.
The total number of arrested violators as of Saturday was 2,501 with the additional 499 from the previous 2,002.
Of the 499 arrests, 182 was made in Imus, 90 in General Trias City, 70 in Dasmarinas City, 25 each in Bacoor and Kawit, 19 each in Naic and General Mariano Alvarez (GMA), 14 in Tanza, 13 each in Trece Martires City and Amadeo, and one figure each for the rest of the other named cities and municipalities.
