43 new COVID cases among Filipinos in Asia-Pacific, Europe reported

Forty-three new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 34 new recoveries recorded in Asia and the Pacific and Europe capped reporting of new cases among Filipinos abroad Wednesday, the Department of Foreign Affairs said.
This is the second day that the DFA did not receive any report of fatalities among Filipinos in various geographical regions worldwide.
Based on its latest tally, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad is now at 8,915 and the total number of those who have recovered is 5,311.
The total number of fatalities remains at 618 with the Middle East and Africa registering the highest at 349, the Americas with 169, Europe with 95, and the Asia and the Pacific with five.
