BAGUIO CITY- Mayor Benjie Magalong reported that four new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases were recorded in the city Saturday, April 25.
Magalong said all of the patients were health workers at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC).
Two were doctors, one was a nurse, while the other one was a hospital clerk.
They were residents of Woodsgate Subd. Camp 7, Sto. Tomas Proper, and the BGH Compound barangays.
All patients are now confined at the BGHMC, and were reported in stable condition.
For containment, Magalong said he will order the lockdown of the barangays and subdivision where the new patients come from.
BGHMC Medical Chief Dr. Ricardo Ruñez said they have started to take all necessary measures to trace all contacts, and were preparing their other hospital staff for testing.
"We will start disinfecting wards, have advised to temporarily stop admissions and communicating with other hospitals for this matter. We will continue with the triage," Ruñez told the mayor.
