Meanwhile, Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said that he wanted to limit the flights at the Bacolod-Silay Airport to sweeper flights bringing home stranded Negrenses, and OFWs until June 30, so they will be able to manage the number of people coming into the province amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Commercial flights were initially expected to resume on June 15, but the local government will also ask the airlines to allow those who already bought tickets to take the sweeper flights.
