3 children, 17 others are new COVID-19 patients in Valenzuela

By Joseph Almer Pedrajas The local government of Valenzuela City reported on Tuesday 20 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), including three 2-year-old residents, after receiving the new set of results of its mass testing program. According to the local government, most of the new patients are not showing symptoms of COVID-19. They have only been discovered positive for the disease after the result of the 118 tests was released. This brought the total number of COVID-19 cases in the city to 79. The public information office (PIO) bared that the three 2-year-old patients were among the 13 new patients who were in close contact with the city's case number (VC) 54, who already died. Meanwhile, the oldest patient reported is a 74-year-old male, the PIO added. "All patients have been moved to Balai Banyuhay, Meaco Hotel, and hospitals for quarantine and medical intervention. Aggressive contact tracing has been done," the local government said in a statement.
