At least 21 more Filipinos from Ukraine are expected to arrive in the country next week as the government continues its repatriation amid the ongoing armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The 21 Filipino seafarers are expected to arrive on March 8 via Philippine Airlines PR659. They are crewmen of M/V S-Breeze, a bulk carrier, which has been on drydock for repairs at the Ilyichevsk Ship Yard in Port of Odessa in Ukraine since Jan. 27.

From Ukraine, the 21 Filipino seafarers entered Moldova before they were transported to Romania.
Meanwhile, another group of seafarers crossed the Moldova border on Friday, March 4, through the Honorary Consul in Moldova.

The 13 of 31 crew members of Star Helena were successfully evacuated from Chornomorsk and are now waiting their flight back to the Philippines.
