BAGUIO CITY – Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the city recorded two new coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases, raising its total number of cases to 34.
He said the 33rd patient was a 28-year old female from City Camp Central who had history of travel to San Fernando, La Union last May 26.
She was asymptomatic but had suspicious pneumonia based on her chest x-ray.
The 34th patient was a 25-year old male from Sitio Apugan, Barangay Poliwes, Kennon Road, who was asymptomatic and had no history of travel or exposure to the disease.
Magalong had directed concerned offices to expedite disinfection, contact tracing and isolation and patient management.
To date, the Baguio City COVID Monitoring Bulletin recorded a total of 34 cases, with 4 active, 29 recovered and one death.
The public was advised to be extra vigilant.
