The Asian Hospital and Medical Center on Monday said that it has discharged a total of 17 patients who recovered from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“Asian Hospital and Medical Center has discharged 17 patients with improved health status and were reunited with their families,” it said in a statement.
“Everyone is encouraged to practice hand hygiene, cough etiquette, and social distancing at all times to help flatten the curve of the COVID-19 cases,” it reminded the public.
The hospital said that it currently has in admission 36 patients with COVID-19 and 24 persons under investigation (PUIs).
Among them are 14 patients under its intensive care unit (ICU) as of 8 a.m. Monday.
The hospital added that it also placed under quarantine 27 health workers due to possible exposure to COVID-19.
Since January 23, the Asian Hospital has screened a total of 543 PUIs, among whom, 115 were confirmed to have COVID-19, including 18 who died.
