A total of 1,180 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) at the Bulacan Provincial Jail (BPJ) in the City of Malolos have already received their COVID-19 booster shots, according to the Provincial Health Office (PHO).
The PHO said that Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines were used for the booster rollout last February 26.

Majority of the PDLs received their first and 2nd doses of the vaccines during the last quarter of 2021.
Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando said that everyone in the province has the right to be protected against COVID-19 and the province will try its best to provide protection for all Bulakenyos through the intensified vaccination program.

Fernando said all Bulakenyos should be fully vaccinated and boosted to completely protect them from COVID-19.
The provincial government also received 1,700 pieces of hygiene kits for each PDLs and 40 pieces of cleaning kits for the facilities of the BPJ from Universal Health Care in its continuing campaign against COVID-19.
