Man arrested for possession of drugs in Pasay City

A 43-year-old man listed in the police drug watch list as a street-level individual was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Pasay police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Saturday, March 25. Col. Froilan Uy, Pasay police chief, identified the suspect as Jovie Picardo, 43. He was arrested at around 9 p.m. along Barangay 174 Zone 17, Pasay City. Uy said members of the SDEU confiscated 11 grams of shabu, with a market value of P74,800. Police also recovered P1,500 worth of buy-bust money and a maroon wallet from Picardo. The evidence was brought to the Southern Police District (SPD) Forensic Unit for chemical analysis. The suspect is now detained at the police custodial facility, facing charges for possession of illegal drugs.
