I know she is in a good place': Mayor Isko greets VP Leni happy birthday

Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno’ Domagoso greeted his fellow presidential candidate Vice President Leni Robredo a happy birthday on Friday, April 22.

"Binabati ko ang ating kagalang-galang na Vice President,” he said in an ambush interview during his visit in Caloocan City.

‘I wish her all the best. I know she is in good places," the Manila mayor added.

Robredo is celebrating her birthday today, April 23.

Domagoso made the statement in the midst of series of criticisms against Robredo, asking her to "make the supreme sacrifice" and "withdraw" from the presidential race, calling her “god mother of bullies” and “matapobre”.

Robredo, meanwhile, said she no longer wanted to engage in a verbal tussle with Domagoso.

Domagoso was also taking a dig at Robredo for also wishing actress Kim Chiu a happy birthday recently wherein she also told her that "she is in a good place".

Being in a good place is an idiomatic expression usually used in referring to a deceased person already resting peacefully in the after life.
