Magalong said the 300 Mbps Wi-Fi installed at the rice and sari-sari section will benefit marketgoers, tourists, residents, and vendors or market entrepreneurs.
It is expected to boost the city government’s campaign on the use of cashless payments.
This free Wi-Fi service was installed four months after Baguio was chosen as the pilot city for the digital payment system dubbed “PalengQR” that uses various digital payment platforms in the country.
