DAGUPAN CITY – A total of 10 delinquent employers here and the town of Calasiao, Pangasinan have been issued a notice of compliance for non-registration of their business, non-remittance of SSS contributions, and non-production of records.
Out of the ten, five did not remit their worker's contributions, four were unregistered, and one had no document to show the basis of their employee's coverage in the SSS.
Primitivo Verania Jr., SSS Dagupan branch manager, said these employers have a combined delinquency and penalty amounting to P1.7 million.
SSS Luzon Central I officials have visited them to remind them of their responsibilities.
Verania said that about 150 employees have been affected by the non-compliance of the employers in connection with Republic Act No. 11199 or the Social Security Act of 2018.
Vilma Agapito, vice president for SSS Luzon Central I, said under the Run After Contribution Evaders (RACE) campaign, employers are given 15 days to settle their delinquency with the SSS from receipt of notice of compliance.
