A 22-year-old student from Samar State University (SSU) has been missing since March 23.
Darlene Luzelle R. Uy, who practices as a student teacher at Catbalogan I Central Elementary School in Catbalogan City as part of an academic requirement, was last seen by her co-practice teachers around 3 p.m. that day.
According to them, Uy left their station in the said school with her phone and a P20 in hand and has since been missing and cannot be contacted.
A missing person report was filed by her family at the Catbalogan City Police Station on Friday, March 24 and an investigation is ongoing.
The SSU, in a Facebook post, also appealed to those who have seen Uy to reach out to the university or UY's father.
"Samar State University appeals to the public to contact the University at (055) 530-0629 or Mr. Ramonito Uy (Father) at 09165273354 for any information regarding Ms. Darlene Luzelle R. Uy," the university posted.
