A total of 130 families were rendered homeless after a fire broke in a residential area on Friday night, March 24, in Parañaque City.

According to the report of Parañaque Bureau of Fire and Protection (BFP), the fire started at around 9:56 p.m. at the house owned by Jonathan Valderan in Sitio Barcelona Dulo, Barangay Merville, Parañaque City.

The fire immediately spread to 90 nearby houses, affecting 130 families or 300 individuals.Â

The BFP said the fire reached the fifth alarm at 10:27 p.m.
The fire was put under control at 11:30 p.m. It was declared fire out by 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 25.Â

No one was reported injured during the incident.Â
The cost of damages to the area was estimated to be around P375,000.Â
The BFP has yet to determine the cause the fire. Â
