Life insurer Pru Life UK brings back the PRURide Philippines when it stages two legs in May.
This year’s edition will take place on May 21 in Clark, Pampanga and May 28 in Cebu as part of its advocacy program to help Filipinos live a healthier lifestyle through cycling.

The two cycling festival legs are also part of Prudential’s 175th anniversary celebration, including its 100 years in Asia. A ceremonial fun ride around Bonifacio Global City with its employees, agency force and partners from the government and private sectors were held Friday, March 24, as part of the event launch. “PRURide Philippines 2023 is about celebrating life and riding together with Filipinos and families for better health and wellness,” says Eng Teng Wong, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pru Life UK. Described as an “inclusive and family-oriented” event, the cycling festival will feature distances from 30 kilometers, 60km and 100km. There will also be a Family Fun Ride of 5K cycling activity for groups, while the Kids CUP is a friendly race for children. “The pandemic has shown us how important health is for ourselves and our loved ones,” said Allan Tumbaga, Executive Vice President and Chief Customer and Marketing Officer of Pru Life UK.
