Pasay's 'Kandili ng Kalusugan' delivers health services to 4 barangays
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano visited the “Kandili ng Kalusugan” program activities that were simultaneously conducted in four barangays in the city on Wednesday, March 22.
Rubiano said the “Kandili ng Kalusugan” delivered free health services to residents in Barangays 10,11,12 and 13.
The participants of the program included citizens who sought free medical consultations.
Aside from the consultations, the program also distributed free medicines and vitamins to the public, as well as services such as x-ray, and laboratory tests for blood typing, blood glucose, cholesterol and uric acid.
Senior citizens were also inoculated with anti-pneumonia vaccines.
For their participation in the event, the mayor added that children were given free haircuts and fluoride application.
The “Kandili ng Kalusugan” is part of Rubiano’s HELP (Health and housing; Education, economic growth, environment; Livelihood, lifestyle, Peace and order, palengke [market], pamilya [family]) priority program.
