NICE PRINT 17TH YEAR GALA: A night of glittery stars and full hearts at 'Legacy'

“Legacy”—the 17th-anniversary gala of Nice Print Photo, Inc. held at Okada Manila’s Grand Ballroom on March 17 and lived up to its promise of glitz and glamour. The event was full of heart as 500 of the company’s celebrity clients and wedding industry partners were treated to a night of moving stories from its clients and team, which it dubbed “#KwentongNP.” The guests were composed of Nice Print’s past, present, and future clients-turned-friends, all of which were glammed up in their black and white glittery formal wear to show their support to the company and its founders, Charisse and Jibby Tinio. The evening started with a cocktail reception amidst the ‘Legacy Walk’—an experiential exhibit by 12 of the country’s top event stylists that illustrated the breadth of Nice Print’s coverage work over its 17 years.

After they were ushered into the main room for a six-course sit-down dinner, guests were treated to a presentation that featured Nice Print’s trademarks of stunning visuals and creative storytelling. It was further enhanced by musical performances from talents like Morrisette, Christian Bautista, Erik Santos and Ogie Alcasid. Segment hosting was done by John and Isabel Prats, Carmina Villaroel Legaspi and daughter Cassy, Barbie Imperial, and Ara Mina.

Right off the bat, any expectations of a typical anniversary program were brushed away as the opening number put the spotlight on the Nice Print photo video team themselves, which the Tinio couple consider the heart of the company. Four unique and heartwarming #KwentongNP videos told by non-celebrity clients—as well as features on some of the oldest and most notable Nice Print employees—had the audience holding back tears several times that night.

The inspiring videos and speeches of the hosts/celebrants Charisse and Jibby Tinio focused on their more vulnerable experiences over the past 16 years, from their tentative start to their anxieties during the pandemic. The audience’s heartstrings were further tugged when the Tinios introduced their eldest teenage son, Sancho, who has been learning the ropes and shooting with the photo-video team, is officially the newest member of the Nice Print team.

“With our theme, ‘Your Story, Our Legacy’, we would like to highlight that capturing and immortalizing our clients’ events is Nice Print’s legacy,” said Charisse Tinio, CEO. “It’s been 17 amazing years of continuous trust from our clients, employees, and partners, and we don’t plan on stopping now.”

Founded in 2006 by business and life partners Charisse and Jibby Tinio, Nice Print has grown to become a leading photography service provider in the country, consistently coming out as the top booker in the biggest wedding fairs and covering as many as eight weddings in one weekend.
