The Land Transportation Office (LTO) advised the public that the agency is not offering assistance service for all of the transactions in the agency.

This, after the LTO National Capital Region West was informed of q money-making modus of some groups individuals that offer assistance service to those who want a fast transaction for driver’s license and car registration.

LTO-NCR West Regional Director Roque I. Verzosa III said such online services posted on social media should not be patronized since it is equivalent to fixing which has been the subject of a crackdown in the LTO.

Instead, he said the applicants should go directly instead to LTO offices.

“They may end up having fake driver’s license or car registration, both are punishable by the law,” said Verzosa.

The LTO has been repeatedly warning the public against fixers using social media. But despite this, a number of people become victims.
