Starting in January this year, the firm has added programs that can be watched not only on TV but on over-the-top streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+ and Prime Video to its monthly survey. It changed the name of the monthly survey from favorite TV programs to favorite broadcast video programs to reflect the change. For March, Gallup Korea held the survey from March 14 to 16 among 1,003 respondents aged 18 and above in South Korea. The results showed that “The Glory” garnered 14.8 percent to become the No. 1 favorite TV program in South Korea in March. “The Glory” part 2 was released on March 10, the finale of the drama about a woman who takes revenge against those who bullied her in high school. After the release of part 1 in December, “The Glory” placed second for two straight months in January and February in the Gallup survey. According to Gallup Korea, “The Glory” is the first web drama and first OTT production program to rank first in the survey. In terms of drama preference since January 2013, “The Glory” ranked third overall behind Song Joong-ki’s “Reborn Rich,” which garnered 16.6 percent in December 2022, and “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” which received 16.4 percent in August 2022.
