4 drug suspects nabbed in Muntinlupa, Taguig

Four drug suspects were arrested in police operations in Muntinlupa and Taguig on March 22.  In Muntinlupa, the police’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) conducted a buy-bust operation at the old city terminal in Barangay Alabang that led to the arrest of Herbert Avila, 45.

Seized from him were two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 5 grams with a market value of P34,000, and a P500 bill used as buy-bust money.  At PNR Site, Purok 7 in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa, the DEU held another buy-bust operation and arrested Isiah Thomas Mondero, 34, and Altons Gandawali, 48, security guard.  The police were able to confiscate three plastic sachets with suspected shabu weighing 5 grams valued at P34,000 and one P500 bill used as buy-bust money. 
The suspects (Photos from Muntinlupa police) Meanwhile, personnel from the Taguig Police Substation 2 arrested Almer Fontanilla, 36, at PNR Site in Barangay Western Bicutan during “Oplan Galugad.”  Recovered from the suspect was one plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing 1.5 grams with an estimated value of P10,200.
The suspect (Photos from Taguig police) The illegal drugs were turned over to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for chemical analysis while the suspects are detained at custodial facilities.
