2 arrested in pot session in Cagayan

CAMP Marcelo A. Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – Two persons were caught by the police having a pot session in Barangay Macanaya in Aparri, this province, on Thursday, March 23. The suspects were identified as alias “Arthur,” 26, and alias “John,” 21. Police said they received information from a concerned citizen that two men were sniffing shabu in an old gasoline station. Lawmen proceeded to the area and caught the two suspects in the act of engaging in a pot session. Recovered from the suspects were two small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less .05 grams and a  heat-sealed transparent   plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana   leaves and fruiting tops weighing more or less  0.1 gram each. Suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Aparri police station for documentation and proper disposition. The duo faces charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
