P516,000 shabu seized from young man in Bacolod buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY – A young man was arrested in a buy-bust operation after he yielded about 76 grams of suspected shabu worth P516,800 at Purok Masinadyahon, Barangay 12 here on Wednesday, March 22. The subject was identified as Darel Demafilis, 22, of Barangay 12.

Capt. Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 5, said that Demafilis is a high value individual who’s been placed under monitoring for about three months. Also confiscated from him were the P500 marked money, two weighing scales, two lighters, and two pairs of scissors. Depasucat said the suspect refused to divulge the source of the recovered illegal drugs.
