LOOK: Jake Ejercito's Japan trip with daughter Ellie

Actor Jake Ejercito and Ellie are currently vacationing in Japan. Jake has been sharing behind-the-scenes photos of their trip on social media. Among the snaps he uploaded are their picture upon arrival in Tokyo and their candid photo inside a train, among others. The two also visited a theme park. Netizens reacted to the posts. "gustong gusto ko ang laging nakikita ang bonding nilang mag ama," an online user commented. "para silang kambal magka mukhang magkamukha talaga ang cute nila," another added. Some even described Jake as the "best dad." "Ang bait nman n daddy jake bihira lng ang ama na ganyan," one related. Meanwhile, Jake just laughed off at the comment that read: "Daming nagcocomment dito ng good father..huh? Saan banda?..eh ang totoong pagiging tatay walang switch..na pwede mong i-on or i-off depende kung kelan convenient sayo...oh after nyan saan n sya ulit?!! wala na feeling binata n uli. tapos good father?!!"

Ellie is Jake's 11-year-old love child with former partner Andi Eigenmann. Andi is based in Siargao along with her fiance Philmar Alipayo and their two kids. In a previous interview, Jake admitted that his and Andi's co-parenting set-up wasn't smooth at first. "Siyempre before, immature pa kami and everything. So medyo malayo din yung nilakbay bago naging ganito ka-settled and smooth,” he shared then.
