2 kids injured in P24 M Ayala Alabang fire 


Two minors were injured in a fire that razed a home in the posh Ayala Alabang Village in Muntinlupa on March 24. 

According to the Muntinlupa City Fire Station, a fire hit a two-story house owned by the Robles family on Banaba Street, Ayala Alabang Village that was reported at 1:28 a.m.

Authorities identified the injured as an eight-year-old surnamed Josue, who suffered burns on the right forearm and left hand, and a 13-year-old surnamed Robles who got burns on the right hand and left arm. They were treated by responding personnel. 

The fire station estimated that the fire, which razed the 300 sq. m. house, damaged P24 million worth of properties based on the Bureau of Fire Protection’s operational procedures manual. 

The blaze reached the first alarm at 1:32 a.m. and was put under control at 2:56 a.m. before it was put out at 4:05 a.m. Twelve fire trucks and four ambulances responded to the incident. 

It affected four families or 22 individuals. Authorities said the fire originated from the parking area but the cause is under investigation as of this writing.
