BUTUAN CITY – The Police Regional Office 13 (Caraga or Northeastern Mindanao) dance troupe, also called the “Trese Sajow Ma’nikyads,” has been cited for performing on a high level since it was formed in 2019.

Gen. Pablo G. Labra II said. “This is what the Trese Sajow Ma’nikyads wants to showcase in all dance performances they share with the people,” he added. The group is composed of 20 uniformed personnel from different police units who perform folk and modern dances during special events, VIP visits, and fellowships. It got its name from the Manobo dialect and debuted during the PNP Caraga Film Festival. Backing the group is the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT), an advocacy support group organized by the PRO-Caraga. They recently performed during the visits of Lt. Gen. Benjamin D. Santos Jr., deputy chief PNP for operations, Undersecretary Gilberto DC Cruz of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, and Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace S. Barbers.
