4 NPA rebels surrender in Central Luzon

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Four New People’s Army rebels and a member of Gabriela and Anakpawis have surrendered to authorities in Central Luzon.

Police facilitated the surrender of communist guerrillas Jameson Martin, “Ka Roldan,” Jomar Valenton, and “Ka Nestor,” and Ka Glenda, a Gabriela and Anakpawis member. The four NPA surrenderers turned over a homemade shotgun without serial number, two explosive materials, three caliber .38 revolvers without serial number, 11 bullets, two 40mm explosive, and two rifle-propelled grenades. Meanwhile, a NPA arms cache composed of a vintage bomb, three M203 ammunition, 62 caliber 7.62mm ammunition, and 44 caliber 5.56mm bullets were unearthed by authorities in Nueva through the help of a former NPA rebel.
