'Nag-reach out ako, boss': Teves has message for 'friend' Remulla
Negros Oriental 3rd district Rep. Arnolfo "Arnie" Teves Jr. has admitted that he tried to reach out to Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin "Boying" Remulla.
Teves, who is being tagged in the March 4 killing of his provincemate Roel Degamo, dedicated a few minutes of his latest Facebook video upload to talk to Remulla, a former Cavite 7th district congressman.
The video message was posted on Tuesday night, March 21.
I only heard earlier that you were asked whether or not I've reached out to you. You said that I haven't. All right, maybe you just didn't get my missed calls)," Teves said.
"Nag-reach out ako, boss. At alam niyo kung gaano ka-totoong tao ako (I reached out boss. Why wouldn't I reach out, I consider you as an friend)," he added.
The DOJ has been handling the investigation on the Degamo case.
I don’t mind you doing your job as DOJ secretary. Even if you include me as a suspect in the investigation, I have no problem with that)," Teves said.
Lahat as in lahat, lahat. Hindi si Arnie lang (My only request is, don't single me out. Look at all the angles. And I mean all. Not just Arnie)," he said.
Teves and Remulla were House colleagues during the previous 18th Congress.
