Man accused of rape collared in San Pedro, Laguna

LAGUNA – A man accused of rape and one of Region 4A’s most wanted persons was arrested in a manhunt operation in San Pedro City on Monday, March 20.

The Laguna Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the accused as alias Toto.

San Pedro City Police Station (CPS) operatives collared alias Toto by virtue of an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 170 for rape by sexual assault without a recommended bail, and acts of lasciviousness with a recommended bail of P180,000.

The accused is now under the custody of the San Pedro CPS.

In a statement, Laguna PPO Director Col. Randy Glenn G. Silvio commended the San Pedro CPS for the successful operation and said that the arrest would help bring justice to the victim’s family.
