UK welcomes Locsin as new PH envoy

British Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils has welcomed former Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Teodoro "Teddy Boy" Locsin to the United Kingdom as he assumed his new post as the Philippines top diplomat there. Currently in Manila, Beaufils extended her warm welcome to Locsin and his wife, Louie, as the two arrived in London. "We can't wait to start working with you in your new capacity! All the very best from the team at UK in the Philippines," the British diplomat said in a Twitter post. In response, Locsin told Beaufils: "At your disposal." On March 18, the Philippine Embassy in the UK also made a Facebook post to welcome its new head.
