Parañaque Mayor Eric gives cash gifts to 2 centenarians

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez led the distribution of P100,000 cash assistance to two centenarians on Monday, March 20. Olivarez said the awarding of assistance was made after the regular Monday flag raising ceremony held at the grounds of the Parañaque City Hall. The two centenarians are Epifania Villanueva from Barangay Tambo and Lourdes Santos from Barangay San Martin de Porres. The mayor, together with Office of Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) head Leolinda Alcantara, awarded the assistance  to the relatives of Nanay Efipania and Nanay Lourdes. Olivarez said Nanay Efipania and Nanay Lourdes are among the six centenarians recorded by the OSCA office, who are entitled to get P100,000 cash gift. He added that the awarding of the cash assistance to the remaining four centenarians will be made on Monday, March 27, or depending on the availability of their relatives.
