As the deadline for the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) registration nears, the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in Region 4-A will start making the rounds of areas in Rizal Province this week to help residents with their registration.
From March 22 up to March 24, the NTC will hold a facilitated SIM Card registration for mobile phone users in Morong, Cardona, and
Binangonan.
In its social media page, the NTC-Region IV-A (Calabarzon) announced that mobile phone users in Morong, Rizal will have their chance to register the SIM cards of their phones and other SIM enabled gadgets on March 22 at the Municipal Covered Court in Morong.
For residents in Cardona, Rizal, the facilitated SIM Registration will be at the Cardona Municipal Covered Court, while in Binangonan, Rizal, the Ynares Covered Court on Ynares Street will be the venue for the registration.
Mobile phone users should bring at least one government issued valid identification card and their mobile phone with SIM.
The SIM Card Registration Law mandates the registration of all the SIM cards by April 26.
There has been no announcement yet from the concerned government agencies if the deadline of the registration will be extended or not.
In Morong, the office of Mayor Sidney Soriano has reposted on its official Facebook page the announcement of the NTC to help in the information campaign for residents of the town.
