Chito Miranda thanks Boss Toyo, revealing items he bought at their auction

Parokya ni Edgar vocalist Chito Miranda thanked those who joined their recent auction, part of their effort to raise funds for ailing guitarist Gab Chee Kee.

In a recent post, Chito revealed how the shirt late rapper Francis "Kiko" Magalona used on the music video for their well-loved tune "Bagsakan" was sold for 620,000 pesos.

"Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nag-bid para sa polo na ginamit ni Sir Francis Magalona sa music video ng Bagsakan, lalo kay Boss Toyo na nanalo sa bidding," he shared, revealing how the rapper also known as Jayson Luzadas also bought the shirts he and Gloc-9 used in the same music video for 150,000 and 80,000 pesos, respectively.

The “Pinoy Pawnstars” host also purchased the "Halina sa Parokya" puppets for 85,000 pesos, Chito added.

"Napakalaking tulong nito for Gab kasi lahat ng kinita sa pagbenta ng mga polo ay mapupunta sa kanya."

Chito also thanked Kiko's wife, Pia Magalona, for donating Kiko's shirt.

He related: "Alam ko po na sobra yung sentimental value ng polo sa inyo pero pinili nyo pa ring i-donate para makatulong sa kabanda namin."

According to Chito, it was the couple's daughter, Saab, who made it possible.

"Gusto ko rin magpasalamat kay @saabmagalona na naging tulay sa pag-coordinate namin kay Ma'am Pia para mahanap yung polo ni Sir Kiko, and aside from that, donated more than P300k mula sa shirt company nila na @linyalinya," he said.

"Grabe kayo. Maraming maraming salamat aa inyong lahat mula sa Parokya sa sa family ni Gab. (heart emojis)."

On YouTube, Boss Toyo documented the moment he personally picked up the item.

In an interview, Pia admitted she was emotional about it.

"I went through the same thing with Francis, so I know, I understand, di ba? Aside from the fact that you're trying to fight for your life, e yung financial iniisip mo yun, di ba? Problemado ka dun. So ako, when I heard - and I didn't know what the other polos did or whatever - I said sure," she shared.

But she admitted, "Mahirap to part with it."

She then told Boy Toyo, "I'm so happy that it's gonna be where you can give it a home together with the brothers."
