Las Piñas gov't offers free eye checkup, cataract surgery

The Las Piñas City government said the City Health Office (CHO) offers free eye checkup and cataract surgery to eligible patients in the city.

According to Mayor Imelda Aguilar said CHO’s free eye checkup and cataract surgery are part of the city’s mandate to provide aid to residents through the “green card” program.

Aguilar said the free medical services will be given to residents upon assessment of health centers in the city and the evaluation of city government’s ophthalmologist.

She said the surgery will be conducted at the Las Piñas Doctors Hospital in Barangay Pulanglupa II.

The mayor advised patients to secure a letter of authorization for the use green card prior to the surgery.
