Korean actor Lee Seung-gi to marry daughter of K-drama ‘Jewel in the Palace’ star 


Korean actor Lee Seung-gi, who has been donating millions he got from his former agency as payment for his music, has announced that he will be getting married. 

On Feb. 7, Lee Seung-gi, 36, star of the dramas “ My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho,” “Vagabond” and “Mouse,” announced on Instagram that he will marry Korean actress Lee Da-in, 30.

Lee Da-in is the daughter of Korean actress Kyeon Mi-ri, known for her portrayal of the villain Lady Choi in the hit drama “Jewel in the Palace,” which starred actress Lee Young-ae. Lee Da-in’s sister is actress Lee Yu-bi. 

In May 2021, Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in admitted their romantic relationship. 

In his letter, Lee Seung-gi said he proposed to Lee Da-in and their wedding will be held on April 7. 

"I feel like I'm writing long messages a lot this year. But today, I want to tell you the most important decision that I have made in my life,” Lee Seung-gi wrote on Instagram, according to SBS News. 

He said, "I'll be spending the rest of my life with my love Lee Dain as a 'married couple'. I proposed to her, and she said yes. We'll be holding our wedding ceremony on April 7. Now that I have someone to be responsible for, I thought I should personally deliver the news to you." 

"She has a warm heart, and her heart is filled with lots of love. I would like her to be by my side for the rest of my life. I want to share joy with her, and overcome hardships together, if we happen to face them," he added. 

The actor said, "We'll keep sharing with the world, and lead a happy life with each other. Please give us your support. Thank you."
