Rape suspect falls in Laguna

KAMPO HENERAL PACIANO RIZAL, Santa Cruz, Laguna – Police arrested a rape suspect during a manhunt operation on Saturday, March 18, in Biñan City, Laguna. Biñan City police chief Lt. Col. Virgilio Jopia, in a report to Laguna police director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio, said the suspect, Binan City resident “Wilfredo,” was arrested in Barangay Santo Tomas. Wilfredo was apprehended on a warrant issued by Judge Jaime E. Banatin, presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court Branch 152 dated March 16, 2023. The court recommended a P120,000 bail for the suspect. Silvio vowed no letup in the manhunt against wanted individuals to give justice to victims.
