A 53-year-old man wanted by police for murder was arrested by members of the Pasay police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) during a manhunt operation against wanted persons on March 18.
The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the suspect as Rolando Garay.
Police tagged the suspect as the top 1 most wanted person in the city for the month of March.
The SPD said Garay was arrested at around 2:15 p.m. along Saint Joseph Street, Barangay 201, Pasay City.
Pasay City Police Chief Col. Froilan Uy said the warrant of arrest for Garay was issued by Pasay Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 114 Judge Elmer Joseph Guerzon with no bail recommended.
The suspect is currently detained at the Pasay police custodial facility.
