Man involved in altercation nabbed in Parañaque

A man involved in an altercation was arrested by police patrolmen early Sunday morning, March 19, in Parañaque City.

The Southern Police Disrict (SPD) identified the suspect as Wang Xin, 26, a Chinese national. 
 
The victim was identified as Teo Chee Ching, a Malaysian national.
 
The SPD said the incident happened at around 1:55 a.m. along Macapagal Boulevard, Barangay Tambo in Parañaque City.
 
According to initial investigation, police on patrol duty saw the suspect engaged in an altercation with the victim. 

The suspect was seen grabbing the cellular phone of the victim before throwing it to the pavement.
 
The police approached and pacified the duom then arrested the suspect.
 
The suspect is now detained at the Parañaque police custodial facility. 

He is facing charges for violation of Article 327 of the Revised Penal Code, pertaining to malicious mischief.
