As part of its initiatives in line with the celebration of National Women’s Month, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) will be mounting a startup webinar for aspiring entrepreneurs.

The DICT said they are specifically aiming to reach women and girls who are aiming “to change the world.”

“Don’t miss Girl Power On: A Startup Awareness webinar for girls. [This] will give you the knowledge and inspiration you need to kickstart your entrepreneurial journey. From idea to launch, we’re here to help you every step of the way,” said DICT.

Besides encouraging the public to form all-female startup teams, the initiative also seeks to support female entrepreneurs and educate them “on the challenges and opportunities that the sector faces.”

This free and virtual event will be spearheaded by DICT Region 13 – Caraga.  It will be conducted on Tuesday, March 21 at 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Interested participants may register through the link provided by DICT Caraga on its Facebook page.
