With the new norms of remote jobs, it is timely that International Workspace Group (IWG) and Cebu-based property developer AppleOne Properties Inc. (API) opened the Regus workspace in Iloilo City. “Nothing comes to close Iloilo outside of Metro Manila for the balance needed for [remote working],” said IWG Country Manager Lars Wittig at the sidelines of the inauguration of the third Regus in Visayas on March 14.

The first Regus in the Western Visayas region is located at Festive Walk Mall within the Iloilo Business Park, a property developed by Megaworld Corporation.
The 1,024 square-meter workspace has 191 plug-and-play private workstations, high-speed wireless internet access, a business lounge, an office pantry, reception services, and office cleaning and maintenance services.
The Regus workspace also has two meeting rooms that can be rented hourly or daily.

Wittig told Manila Bulletin that Iloilo is ripe for embracing hybrid work in these modern times, especially since the pandemic is waning.
At Regus, any company or individual can avail of its services and maintain a good working environment.
“If hybrid work is embraced, it is more likely that the workers stay and become efficient,” Wittig added.
