A man wanted for robbery was arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) on Friday, March 17.
According to the report of Southern Police District (SPD), the suspect was identified as John Angelo Lagartos, 28, tagged by the Pasay City Police as Top 5 most wanted person.
Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, said Lagartos was arrested around 5:10 p.m. on Waling Waling St. in Barangay 192, Pasay City.
Uy said Pasay City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 109 Judge Christian Pascual Castaneda issued on Feb. 19 a warrant of arrest against the suspect for the crime of robbery with a recommended bail of P100,000.
The city police chief said members of the WSS conducted “Oplan Galugad” against all wanted persons in the city, which led to the arrest of Lagartos.
The suspect is now detained at the Pasay police custodial facility.
