Clarita Carlos scores fine leather bag, but that's not the 'best part'
Whoever knew that political scientist and academic, Professor Clarita Carlos had fine taste in leather goods, particularly ladies' bags?
In a Facebook post Saturday morning, March 18, the former national security adviser shared a photo of her recent purchase and what made it such an awesome buy.
"I rarely buy leather bags because I prefer to use our katsa/burlap bags which can carry all my things," she wrote.
"However, when I see very fine craftmanship like in this olive green bag here, produced by Our Tribe, then, I have to really laud its fine work that can handily compete with the other spectacularly expensive bags elsewhere," attested the 76-year-old Carlos.

But that's not even the "best part", according to House Speaker Martin Romualdez's chief policy adviser on security and defense concerns. "That the shop is owned by a colleague in the University and I get a friendly discount, is, of course, the BEST part! Sugapa sa discount! Hahaha!" Carlos said, obviously elated.
