Social media is currently abuzz over a cozy photo of James Reid and Issa Pressman.
In the picture posted by Issa, the two are seen holding hands.
There were also snaps of them taking each other's photos.
The pictures were supposedly taken after they watched Harry Styles' recent concert in Manila.
Netizens claim the photos are an indirect confirmation that they are indeed an item.
Some online users, meanwhile, couldn't help but recall James' relationship with former reel and real partner Nadine Lustre.
Some of them even reposted Bea Alonzo's famous cryptic post: "TIME AS THE ULTIMATE TRUTH TELLER!"
James and Nadine split in 2020 after almost four years together.
Around that time, Issa's name was dragged into the issue.
She was accused of causing the breakup.
Actress Yassi Pressman quickly defended her younger sister.
"Hindi po papatol ang kapatid ko sa mga sinasabi ninyo. Pero bilang Ate, hindi ko naman po yata kayang panuorin na patuloy po siyang binabato ng mga masasakit na salita dahil nananahimik siya," she wrote on Instagram.
"This was me and nadz last night, watching how some of us become cruel over untrue statements," Yassi continued, referring to a photo of her and Nadine.
"Initially we all laughed about how crazy the things that woke us up yesterday were, and then.... they started getting out of hand, at di na yun tama..," Yassi said. "Ayaw na po sana namin patulan, but we decided to post something because cyber-bullying is not okay, it is never okay."
Yassi advised her followers to be careful with the words they use on social media.
She also warned them about some news items being fake.
"They're not always the truth," she reiterated. "Do not be so quick to point fingers, when you do not have the proper information. #thinkbeforeyouclick."
She capped off her post by stressing that they're all "okay."
"Sana po kayo din. Let's respect everyone."
James quickly reacted to the post, commenting: "Sorry you girls got dragged into this. There are some messed up people out there."
Issa also addressed the rumor.
She posted on Instagram: "If I stay silent, i’m 'guilty'. If I stand up for myself, i’m 'defensive'. The world judges either way.
But to end it here & now, everything is 100% FALSE. #ThinkBeforeYouClick."
