Police net P340,000 shabu in Pampanga

CITY of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police arrested two drug pushers and seized 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Pulungbulu, Angeles City, Pampanga on Thursday, March 16. Suspects were identified as Jesus Sarmiento and Michael Abbas of Barangay Pandan, Angeles City. They face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon) chief Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said there is no letup in the campaign against illegal drugs. “We assure our law-abiding citizens that your police will be restless in our anti-illegal drug campaign to maintain peace and order and secure the future of the youth.”
