Parañaque City announces road closure

  The Parañaque city government announced that a portion of Quirino Avenue going to Zapote in Las Piñas, or about 500 meters from the  Kabihasnan intersection, will be temporary closed starting March 17 in line with the Our Lady of Peace Access Road project in Barangay San Dionisio.
Mayor Eric Olivarez said the road closure was implemented to give way to the construction of drainage (910mm Ø RCPC) tapping to outfall relative to the C5 Southlink Expressway project.   Olivarez advised motorists to expect moderate to heavy traffic due to the ongoing project.
The mayor advised motorists to use Victor Medina St/Kabihasnan Road going to Dr. A. Santos Avenue straight to SM Sucat C5 Extension straight to C5 and exit to Villa Real Street then to Quirino Avenue and vice versa. Olivarez said the Traffic Parking Management Office (TPMO) will be deploying additional traffic enforcers to assist motorists.
